Bunbury and his band, Los Santos Inocentes, once again took over the Aztec Theater at exactly 8:00 PM sharp, wearing a custom made white suit with a red ‘X’ on his back and some nice shades. The crowd was eager with excitement to hear and see him play all of his classic hits. With such a humble soul and presence, Bunbury delivered a majestic performance at the Aztec Theater. Serenading our minds with songs like “Despierta”, El Extranjero”, “Si”, “Parecemos Tontos”, and “Lady Blue”. He also treated us with one of his Heroes del Silencio jams like “Maldito Duende”.
You can honestly feel his cosmic energy being projected around the theater, and his intimate dedication to deliver a one of a kind two hour show. The crowd jumped and swooned throughout the night. Couples got drunk with music, friends fell in love all over again with lyrics, and loners embraced their loneliness with Bunbury’s electric company. Everyone was satisfied with what was going on at his concert.
Before Bunbury left the stage, he reminded us “No se olviden de nosotros, muchas gracias!” We obviously will never forget you, Bunbury. You implanted such an epic musical experience in our heads.
