René Juan Pérez Joglar, also famously known as Residente, conquered San Antonio's Latin soul with his heart and mind, projected through his cosmic universal music. The set list spanned from classic Calle 13 hits to his latest solo material. He made various important statements about the social issues that have been occurring in the US; immigration and racism. Issues in the music industry were also addressed, how now everyone relies on the idea that a musician is only defined by the numbers, and not by their art. In general, he preached that the general public is not aware who are the producers, musicians, and the intentions of the album/song, because of the major exposure and importance that's rather given to the numbers. Residente left us with the inspiring truth: the only race that exists in this world is the human race. How we all in a way come from the same womb and share the same DNA. We can learn a lot about ourselves if we embrace the right moment at the right time. San Antonio, Texas marks the end of his USA tour with a huge bang.
